I receive many inquires from potential home buyers and home sellers in Parkland and South Florida. As a result of the increase in buyer demand just in the past 3-6 months, I wanted to perform some research in order to provide the public with some data on home sales in Parkland Florida from 2012 to 2013. What I found was very interesting!. Above, please take a look at the chart at the average price of a single home in Parkland in 2012 as opposed to so far in 2013.
The average sale price increased from $468,000 in 2012 to $482,000 this year. Although there have only been 71 sales so far in 2013, an average increase of $14,000 per home listing is very hard to ignore!
There were 432 homes sold in Parkland for 2012. We are on pace to sell over 500 homes this year, not including the pre-construction in Heron Bay, Parkland Golf & Country Club, & The Wedge.
But, with interest rates going to increase by up to a point or more by the end of 2013 and 2,200 homes being built in the Wedge out in West Parkland, NOW is the time to truly sell your home for top dollar and then buy a larger home or empty nest into a smaller home.
