Parkland and South Florida real estate agent Michael Citron discusses in this video the importance of a proper walk-through when buying a home. It is essential to make sure your Realtor has a checklist and you both go through the entire home that is now 100% vacant and make sure that all appliances are working and do a 360 degree tour of the exterior of the home in order to make sure that you do not miss anything. If repairs were made by the sellers after the inspection, it may be advisable to hire an inspector or contractor to check the work done during the walk through. Once you close, if a problem was not found during the walk-through, that problem is now your responsibility, so make sure that you perform a thorough inspection.
