There were 45 total single family sales for the month of June, 2013 ranging in price from $275,000 to $4,300,000. Among the June, 2013 sales, only 8 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales). 18% of all sales were distresses ones.
Summer is red hot for sales, especially in the high price ranges. I love to see homes over a million selling in the City of Parkland. Distressed sales are on the decline, which is great news for the overall Parkland and South Florida real estate market. Buyers are paying a premium to call our city their home for their families. Pre-construction sales are also on fire, as more and more buyers are looking to relocate their families, from near and far, to Parkland, Florida. Available home inventory is at a record low level, and buyers are scrambling to find homes before the school year commences at the end August.
