There were 33 total single family sales for the month of February, 2011 ranging in price from $210,000 to $1,620,000. Last month, there were 18 total single family home sales. There were 13 more Parkland single family homes sold in the month of February, 2011 than in January, 2011. Among the February sales, 16 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures, short sales, or corporate owned properties). We have seen an increase in buyer activity in the past month. We are also seeing more and more people from out of the area coming to the local Parkland events such as the Farmer’s Market and Concerts In The Park.
The word is out … Parkland is the ideal place to live and raise a family. But, with interest rates expected to climb in the coming months, NOW is the time to buy a home in Parkland, Florida.
