There were 31 total single family sales for the month of March 2014 ranging in price from $270,000 to $1,275,000. Among the March, 2014 sales, 2 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales).
Only 6% of all sales were distresses ones. A total of 10 homes sold in Heron Bay showing that many home buyers are looking to move their families into this exclusive community.
It also interesting to note that with only 2 distressed sales occurring for the month of March 2014, the current Parkland real estate market is stronger than ever! Unlike other neighboring cities in West Broward, Parkland is truly one-of-a-kind location for families looking to take advantage of the city’s excellent schools, parks, and safe neighborhoods. As a result, the Parkland real estate market is not only rebounding, but it is flourishing in 2014! Last month, there were only 19 total single family sales. The overall market sales started off slowly, but then significantly picked up in the March, 2014, as more and more home buyers enter the market.
I see a strong real estate market as we get more into the middle of the year. However, I do forecast that Parkland home inventory will increase in the coming months. As a result, prices should stabilize, as we get closed to the end of 2014. Interest rates are also most likely to increase by the end of the year causing the market to level itself out.
