It is always an honor and very humbling to be quoted in any media source. Today, I was quoted in Sun-Sentinel’s article, Townhomes spreading in Broward County, discussing the new construction project in Coconut Creek, Florida called Long Pines. This preconstruction townhhome project, which consists of 50 units, is located west of Lyons Road, and just east of 441. Building is already under way and closing are scheduled in the next month. Builder Jordan Klemow is also seeking final approval to build an additional 55 units just east of the site called In The Pines. Klemow is turning to townhome building as land becomes scarce in South Florida.
This project is an affordable alternative to purchasing a single family home in Coconut Creek, and especially in Parkland, which this project is located very close to. My team and I have already put two contracts together in Long Pines, as it is difficult to find new construction in the area at such affordable starting prices. While many big builders, such as Lennar, Standard Pacific, and WCI are building higher-end homes in West Parkland, Klemow is taking advantage of building affordable alternatives in townhomes, where more buyers can qualify to purchase brand new homes and live the townhome lifestyle. Long Pines will have a swimming pool, and will be a gated community.
