Parkland and South Florida real estate agent Michael Citron emphasizes in the above video the importance of real estate buyers first deciding which city is ideal to live in. Then, purchasers should then find which neighborhood fits their purchasing criteria. Finally, ideal home in the city and neighborhood should be targeted.
Buyers are excited to just start looking at homes, but sometimes do no first consider the city and neighborhoods. It is important to find the city first, as buyers may require certain school districts and proximity to and from work. After home buyers pinpoint a city, then the right neighborhood in the city should be selected.
Buyers should consider what kind of neighborhood they want to live in such as a gated or non-gated community and with or without specific amenities and features. Finally, buyers should then look for the idea home that fits their family’s purchasing criteria in the desired city and neighborhood. Home buyers will have a better buying experience if they put together a plan with their Realtor and not get frustrated in the buying process.
