There were 32 total single family sales for the month of September, 2013 ranging in price from $305,000 to $1,075,000. Among the September, 2013 sales, only 2 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales). 6% of all sales were distresses ones.

Resale home sales have slightly slowed down due to the fact that school just started back in session.  Heron Bay resales are red hot, as inventory is extremely low in the community.  12 of the 32 total sales were in the Heron Bay community.  New construction community of Osprey Lake is also on fire!   Please view the 6 available models below or click Osprey Lake for complete details and floorplans.

It is also exciting to see that distressed sales are under 10% in the entire City of Parkland, Florida.  As a result, market values have increased.  Distressed sales typically stay on the market for a longer period of time due to the fact that the banks take months to approve the short sale prices.  Also, with less and less distressed sales coming on the market, the overall market values in Parkland will continue to improve!  The Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team is continuing to set record sales prices in Parkland.
