There were 30 total single family resales for the month of February, 2013 ranging in price from $171,500 to $885,000. In February, 2013, there were a total 30 Parkland Single Family Resales. There was 1 less Parkland single family homes sold in the month of February, 2013 than in January, 2013. Among the February sales, only 10 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales). 33% of all sales were distresses ones.

The overall sales remain consistent in the past couple of months, due to the large buyer demand from potential purchasers that are looking to move their families into the city.  Right now, mortgage interest rates remain at record low levels making buying a better option than renting.  Rentals have also gone up in prices, as more and more people have been renting over buying due to the real estate bubble and economic downturn.

Now, there has never been a better time to take advantage of today’s real estate market in Parkland and South Florida and sell your home for top dollar and then take advantage of historic low interest rates and either buy up or downsize to a smaller home.  The overall real estate market is improving.  No matter if you are thinking of buying a resale or a pre-construction home, NOW is the ideal time to make a move for you and your family.
