There were 31 total single family resales for the month of January, 2013 ranging in price from $199,000 to $1,598,800 . In December, 2012, there were a total 35 Parkland Single Family Resales In December 2012. There was 4 more Parkland single family homes sold in the month of December, 2012 than in January, 2013. Among the January sales, only 11 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales). 34% of all sales were distresses ones.

The market is certainly picking up in Parkland.  Real estate inventory in our city is at a record low with only 163 total single family homes sales currently available.  Eastern Parkland also saw many sales in the month of January 2013.  As a result, the real estate market is not only selling well in the newer, West Parkland area, but also in the older Eastern section.  Also, the available Heron Bay home inventory is very low with only a total of 32 single family homes on the market for sale.

The available Parkland single family home inventory for homes in the $300,000’s to $400,000’s is very low, as many young families want to purchase homes in the City Of Parkland in order to start living the Parkland Lifestyle.  Pre-construction is also a popular alternative, as there will be 2,200 new homes built in the Parkland Wedge section in the coming months and years.  As a result, Parkland is growing, and many more families will soon be moving into our city.
