There were 27 total single family resales for the month of September, 2012 ranging in price from $175,000 to $1,150,000. In August, 2012, there were a total 47 Parkland Single Family Resales. There was 20 less Parkland single family homes sold in the month of September, 2012 than in August, 2012. Among the September sales, 11 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales). 41% of all sales were distresses ones.

After record sales for the entire Summer, we are now finally seeing a small decline in buyer activity for Parkland resales in the past month into October, 2012.  But, there are still many buyers that were unable to pull the triggers on  homes during the Summer months, as the competition was never stronger!  Buyers were practically bidding against one another, which resulted in Parkland homes selling for higher prices and in a faster amount of time.

More and more buyers are moving into the area and looking to live the Parkland Lifestyle.  Many buyers see the value of calling Parkland home for their families.  Many of the buyers that my team and I are currently working with compare Parkland to the City of Weston, Florida.  After providing potential buyers with all of the city and real estate information here in the city, they see the major benefits in receiving more bang for their bucks along with living in a great school district and safe neighborhood.
