No Rain At Parkland Play Day At Pine Trails Park

Hundreds of Parkland residents came out to celebrate Parkland’s Play Day this past Saturday at Pine Trails Park.  Rain was in the forecast, but fortunately, we escaped without one drop for the three hour event!

Parkland children enjoyed various games, arts & crafts, bounce houses, and more.  The Florida Panthers also provided the kids with  various giveaways and hockey video games to play.

The booth that the the Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team and Parkside Health & Wellness Center sponsored was the most popular for the kids!  We hired Air Brush Tatoo Artist, Liz Turner, with Painted Phoenix Events to give tattoos to all of the attendees.  Throughout the entire event, we had a long line with eager kids awaiting to be tattooed.

Parkland Real Estate Team Supports Play Day This Saturday At Pine Trails Park

The Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team and the City of Parkland invites  ALL Parkland residents to this Saturday’s P.L.A.Y. Day at Pine Trails Park.  The event is on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The City of Parkland was named as one of only 118 “Playful City USA” Communities for the third straight year by Non-Profit Organization KaBOOM.  We wrote an earlier article, City of Parkland Awarded Top Honors For Kids Fitness, on the importance of combating childhood obesity through recreational activities. Fortunately, the City of Parkland has taken giant leaps to combat this growing problem in our local area.

This very popular event will feature many exciting activities for the kids including bounce houses, toddler play centers, live entertainment, and old fashioned family fun activities such as potatoes sack races and tug of war.

The Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team along with Parkside Health & Wellness Center welcome all Parkland residents to stop by our booth, so you and your children can get an airbrush tattoo by our professional artist Liz Turner with Painted Phoenix Events.

There will also be snacks and drinks available to all of those that come out to attend this free event.

Being A Top Parkland Realtor Means Taking Care Of The Details

Selling real estate in today’s market is not just about marketing, negotiating deals, and closing the transactions.  Being a successful Parkland and South Florida real estate team requires customer service and going the extra mile for each and every client.  The Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team’s philosophy is that the more you give, the more you will get in return.  Our team stands out because of the significant amount of time and customer service that we put into our business.

When a seller or buyer works with us, our relationship goes beyond the basics of the real estate transaction, and our client relationship does not expire after the sale is completed.

What do we mean by customer service?  Below, please find just a few examples of how we took care of some of our recent clients:

• One of our Pine Tree Estates’ seller was out of town and put a neighbor in charge of the care of her three dogs.  Unfortunately, the neglectful neighbor forgot to walk the dogs for an entire day.  We arrived to the home and found poop in the main living areas of the home.  We quickly cleaned up the problem and used air fresheners to disguise the smell before the perspective buyers arrived.
• An elderly client needed help moving boxes to the garage in order to stage the home for the pictures.  Rosy and I personally rolled up our sleeves and helped move dozens of heavy boxes in order to get the home ready to show.  As a result of our efforts, the home sold in under a week.
• A few times this year,  our team had to extend our services to house cleaning.  As a result, we had to make beds, pick up dirty laundry, wash dishes, and sweep floors to make the house show at its best!
• We got a call from a neighbor at one of our vacant homes under contract that stated that there was a leak at our listing.  We immediately took action and met a plumber, while our clients were out of town and unavailable.  As a result, the leak was fixed before it became a huge problem which would have resulted in the home not closing.
• We have coordinated and met landscapers, pool service companies, roofers, and other repair companies while our clients were out of town or at work in order to fix issues.

A great book that I am currently reading entitled, “People Buy You” (written by Jeb Blount) says: ” Going the extra mile sets you apart from 90 percent of your competitors.  There are no traffic jams on the extra mile.” Our team strives to always go beyond our clients’ expectations in each and every transaction and become their lifetime real estate agents.

Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team Sponsors Concerts In The Park

The Parkland Parrot Real Estate Team is proud to be co-sponsoring the Parkland Concerts In The Park.  The first concert was this past Saturday night, where residents were entertained by The Free Radicals, a local rock cover band that jammed to rock songs from the 70’s and 80’s.

Before the concert, the City of Parkland commemorated the lives lost during the terror attacks on 9/11.  Local schools came out to honor America and the local police officers and firefighters.  Parkland Major Michael Udine was on hand and spoke to the audience on the importance of 9/11 and how all residents should never forget this day in history, as many lives were lost and how our war on terrorism is still ongoing.

We also would like to thank Dr. Joseph Bogart & Dr. Nina Hersch for co-sponsoring the Parkland Concert Series.  Dr. Bogart & Dr. Hersch own Parkside Health & Wellness Center which is located in the heart of Parkland on Parkside Drive in the Parkland Town Center.  Parkside Health & Wellness offers many services including: chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, and sedation adjustments.  During the Concert, many attendees received free massages and giveaways.
