Among the June, 2014 sales, only 4 were a distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales) . It is great news to see that there were only 4 distressed homes sold in the month of June, 2014 showing a strong and growing real estate market.  During the Summer months is when Parkland sees its most sales activity for single family homes.  55 homes resales shows how strong of a real estate market Parkland Florida is when the average sales for other months are between 30-40 per month.   Most buyers that are looking to relocate to the City of Parkland look to move during the June/July months in order to have their families get acclimated to the City of Parkland and prepare for the upcoming school year.

We also saw many homes sales in the very high price ranges of $700,000′s to over 1 million.  But, Parkland has also come an affordable alternative to other local cities such as Weston.  Parkland offers home prices in the low $400,000s to over 1 million, which allows for multiple buyers the opportunity of calling Parkland home for their families.

Among the May, 2014 sales, 2 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures or short sales).  Only 6% of all sales were distresses ones. Many homes have sold in the $400,000 to $500,000 price range which is considered the sweet-spot of the market.  Homes in this price range are moving in days, not weeks, for top market dollar.  There were also 11 sales in East Parkland proving that both West and East section of Parkland, Florida are selling.  Eastern Parkland has homes built in the 1980′s to 1990′s in gated and man-gated communities as well as the acreage communities of Pine Tree Estates and BBB Ranches, which has no homeowner’s association and allows for horse stables, guest houses, farms, and more.
